on a regular basis, providing invaluable mentorship and support informed by their own extensive career experience.

Courtney Colwell
Federated Media, Content Marketing Director

As the Content Marketing Director for Federated Media, Courtney manages content development and marketing and audience engagement for American Express OPEN's small business publishing platform, OPENForum.com. She also works with the brand on social media extensions, including the first American Express Twitter handle, @openforum. She has launched numerous executive blogs, and assists in writing and editing content, as well as developing and managing author relationships.

Before joining Federated Media, Courtney served as Director of Brand Marketing at Inc., where she led the development of partnerships, events, and promotions for the magazine. Prior to that position, she was the senior brand marketing manager for Departures magazine, part of American Express Publishing, which she joined after managing marketing communications for American Express Tax & Business Services. Previously, she had spent seven years in digital marketing and project management at such companies as Bank of America Interactive, Icon Medialab, and Circle.com (now part of Euro RSCG).

Courtney holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of Miami, and an MA in Media Studies from Pennsylvania State University. She enjoys writing, travelling, and writing about travelling.

Sansori, Founder

Kristin is a Team Member and Founder of Sansori. She has professional expertise in online education, women’s programs, fundraising, and law, and has worked with Harvard, Oxford, Princeton, Stanford, and Yale Universities, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. When not working on Sansori, Kristin likes to go "recreational" mountaineering in the Canadian Rockies, watch sheep in New Zealand, join meditation retreats at a Korean Zen monastery, and throw dinner parties for friends. Kristin received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College, cum laude, in Chinese Philosophy. She currently serves on the Board of RAIT Investment Trust (NYSE: RAS). She has also served on the Board of Trustees of Bryn Mawr College and many other non-profit boards.


 

Amanda Neville
Three Furies, Founder

A serial entrepreneur and experienced communications strategist, Amanda specializes in helping executives and organizations connect with their core constituents in a meaningful way. She has a knack for simplifying complex concepts into accessible messages, and infusing them with heart and humor.

She founded Three Furies, a New York-based consultancy, to work exclusively with entrepreneurs, progressive executives, causes and communities. She is particularly passionate about socially conscious ventures and public service.

Amanda graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and earned her Master's degree at New York University. She also holds a JD from the Washington College of Law at American University, where she was Associate Executive Editor of the International Law Review. Previously, she was a founding partner at Thinkso Creative, a Manhattan branding agency.

In her spare time, Amanda serves on the advisory boards of Read Alliance and the New Leaders Council. She has been a political activist since she pursuaded James Carville to deliver the commencement address at her high school in 1995. In 2008, she knocked on doors for Obama in Texas, Pennsylvania and Virgina.

Rena Neville
Sotheby's, Senior VP, Client Development

Rena Neville is Senior Vice-President, Client Development at Sotheby's, where she has been since 1989. Prior to Sotheby's, Rena was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell.

Rena has served on various committees relating to art law or lobbying, including the Executive Committee of the British Art Market Federation; the European Round Table; the New York City Bar Association's Committee on Art Law; and the Board of Directors of the Art Loss Register. She has also published a comment on The US Government and the Art Market, in Fine Art and High Finance, and a chapter on The International Movement of Cultural Property, Chapter 6 of Art Law Handbook, among others. She is on the board of directors for the Program for Survivors of Torture, a group based out of Bellevue Hospital in New York City.

Rena graduated from Denison University with a BA in Philosophy and received her Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law, American University.

Outside work, Rena likes to enjoys yoga, biking, swimming and any other activities with her lovely husband and 8 year-old son.
